Sitting atop Farragut West station and just two blocks from Farragut North, we are centrally located and easily accessible. With a mix of dining tables, cocktail tables and sofas, our furniture can be added to or removed to suit your event needs.
THE DRAWING ROOM
With DByrd's eye-catching graffiti-inspired artwork teamed with a luxurious mirror and chandelier, events in The Drawing Room will always be remembered. With floor to ceiling windows that open out onto The Patio, we can increase the size of your event with ease. A wonderful area for a wedding dinner.

THE LOUNGE
Vintage Burgundy wine barrels and more of DByrd's pillars stand out as The Lounge's most prominent features. Lit by oversized Edison style light bulbs and a chandelier, the space is perfect for evening receptions. The 26 foot marble bar means fighting for a spot will never be an issue, while our talented bar staff will ensure you and your guests are served nothing but the highest quality handcrafted beverages.

THE WHISKEY ROOM
Prequel is proud to offer the Whiskey Room. Featuring signature bourbon and whiskey cocktails, the Whiskey Room is perfect for anyone seeking to elevate their private function with a touch of sophistication. The room can be divided in two for smaller groups.

THE PATIO
Extending beyond the width of our entire restaurant, our huge patio is the perfect venue for a Spring Soiree or Fall Fling. At over 1,500 sq. ft., it can accommodate large groups or be sectioned off for a smaller happy hour event.

THE ROOF
With views across DC and Arlington, our exclusive roof top is available to rent for those who want to provide their guests with something a little extra special.

HORS D'OEUVRES AND DInNERS
We can accommodate your food needs with our pop-up chefs or through caterers we have worked with. If you have a caterer in mind, we can also work with you to see if that will be feasible.
Beverage Packages
Prequel is proud to offer a comprehensive beverage program, curated by one of DC’s finest sommeliers As well as offering on-consumption of our full bar, we offer three open bar packages:
- Beer, wine and 2 batched cocktails: $20 per person for the 1st hour, $10 per person for each additional hour
- Rail liquor, beer & wine: $28 per person for the 1st hour, $15 per person for each additional hour
- Premium liquor, beer & wine: $40 per person for the 1st hour, $20 per person for each additional hour
All charges are subject to tax (10%) and service charge (22%).
